Energy Commission
The Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Energy Commission. The Energy Commission is required by law (Energy Commission Act 541, 1997) to prepare, review and update periodically indicative national plans to ensure that all reasonable demands for energy are met in a sustainable manner. The Energy Commission will play many functions in the project as listed below:

Making the Centre the focal point of the Commission in supporting research and technology development within the sector,

Linking the Centre to local SMEs registered by the Commission and provide favourable platforms that will enable SMEs to benefit from the research outputs from the Centre,

Reviewing training manuals that would be prepared by the Centre for its training activities

Supporting the Centre to raise funds at national and international levels, and

Monitoring the performance of the Centre and provide advisory services with the aim of enhancing the quality of research and the development of innovative products.
