GlobalResolve of Arizona State University (Polytechnic Campus), USA
GlobalResolve works with a range of partners to develop sustainable technologies and programs in the areas of energy, clean water, and local economic development for rural communities in developing countries. Faculty and students at Arizona State University, through the College of Technology and Innovation and the GlobalResolve social entrepreneurship initiative, have been working alongside students and faculty at Kumasi Technical University since 2007 on projects such as the development of gelled ethanol fuel and associated stoves, clean electric lighting using thermoelectric generation, and other initiatives.
As a partner GlobalResolve will play roles such as training of selected staff of the Centre in design and fabrication of mini-distillation plants, gel ethanol stoves, solar thermal fabrication techniques, and general welding skills. GlobalResolve has already affirmed its support to the Centre.
